Hi. My name is Joel and I'm a holster addict.

Here is my selection of holsters for my 1911 pistols.

From the top: 1. RM Holsters Lowrider, Kydex, IWB. 2. Kramer Belt Scabbard, Horsehide, OWB. 3. Milt Sparks Summer Special II, Cow, IWB. 4. Tagua Belt Slide, Cow, (good for varied length barrels of same style gun), OWB. 5. Nightingale leather, Griffon V Snap-On OWB with Elephant Trim. 6. Belt Slide OWB holster made by Larry, (Gone_fshn here on OSA) for 1911s with varied barrel lengths.

Oops, found another one...(we addicts sometimes hide them away in an attempt to keep our addiction secret.) This one is just a plain old OWB belt holster for a 5" 1911. 1911 owb.jpg

My favorites are Milt Sparks VM2, Comptac MTAC, and Fist ultra-thin IWB. The next one I'll try is the Steath Gear.

Doesn't everyone have a dresser drawer dedicated for holsters? Is that weird?

Hell, I've got a laundry tote full. But to be fair, I made most of them myself.

    Still....

    It's a sickness!

I've finally gotten to know what I like and what I dont so I only have a few. I once had a Milt Sparks VM2 I think it was for a 1911 and it was the best IWB holster I ever did see.
