Leave it to a Marine to mess up just about any relationship....

A number of wimmin would agree with you...can I help it that I am a somewhat roguish fellow?

Since you know the dimensions now,
If you ever need a replacement - a rectangular pool cover is another option - and can go from edge to edge in 1 piece.

or not. Sounds like this was a time-time ordeal.
Looks good - congrats!

Hey Joel,

Have ya seen those TV ads for the "Sunsetter" retractable awnings? Don't know anything about 'em, but it looks like installation would let ya keep both feet on the ground.

Just a thought. :drunk2:

The problem with pool covers and retractable awnings is that they block 90-100% of the sun and do not let the rain fall through them. Shade Fabric can be bought in varying grades
of UV/light blockage and does allow enough filtered sunlight for wife's plants, and for rainwater to pass. I don't want water pooling on top of the thing, we do want the rain to be able to slip through. Speaking of passing water...:bolt:
