For in-home defense, I'd rather have 30 rounds in a handgun - both for one-hand use and mobility.This is the reason I would rather use an AR with 30 round magazines for home defense instead of a handgun that holds 15 rounds or so.
In that situation the fewer reloads required the better.
I guess I could get some 33 round mags for my 19.5.
Our home isn't very large though. 50ft-ish is the max indoor line-of-sight distance. And that would be through the hallway and across rooms at both ends, which is not a likely scenario.
