Hey, l like that ! Gives me ideas for my Marlin 35 Remington.
Very easy to make, I was intimidated at first because I'd never done leather anything. aside from drying time, I have about 1.5 hours in it.
Looks good, cd! Here is one I did for a buddy.
Where did you say you were getting the leather at?? You told me at the ENS and apparently I was not paying attention LOL

All you need is a picture in your head and some leather to work with.
There is a Tandy Leather in OKC. We buy a few things from the one in Tulsa but we order most of our materials from Weaver. Sometimes we drive to Texas Leather Goods down in Dallas.
I THINK when I met Cdschoonie the evening after the ENS he said he picked up his leather at Hobby Lobby. I could be wrong but that's ringing a bell.
