Almost all mortgage companies sell the loan off to a servicing company. Very few banks/mortgage companies have the funds/collateral/cash to be able to hold the note themselves. My wife works for one of the largest private mortgage companies, her company is based out of Moore and she works at the First American Bank on the West side of Norman. If you have any questions let me know and I can have her give me an answer/suggestion.
