Haven't read the whole thread, but I assume I'm not the only one rolling with hot links, garlic salt, soy sauce and chili paste. I'm not above Bologna and extra hot sauce either.

Boil the noodles, drain 90% of the water and mix in the seasoning. Nice flavorful ramen.

I do this, plus add Head Country.

And if I don't have veggies for stir-fry later, I might flat-iron some shrimp, chicken, or tip steak for a few minutes and add it to the ramen 30-45 seconds after adding the ramen to the rapidly boiling water. And add Head Country, of course.

I know a guy that used to eat them raw, just put the seasoning on the block and chow down

We did this in high school, we used to crunch them up into smaller bits and pieces before we opened the bag though. Sometimes I would keep a pack in the deep depths of my backpack just in case I forgot cash for lunch.

Only at gunpoint. Check the salt content (old info--maybe it's changed). Bad associations--flashbacks to poverty--flashbacks to failed relationships--flashbacks to . . .

Boil, empty all water. Add BUTTER, lots of it...open seasoning packet, empty contents. Stir and enjoy.

My mom did it similarly but she sautéed the boiled noodles in butter or olive oil before adding the seasoning. I'm just too lazy for that step.
I miss my mommy! :)
