So if I've missed this thread let me know.
I've been on the hunt for a way to carry my AR pistol (w/law tactical folder). I currently work where I can carry a pistol and my AR but am moving to a job where I cant carry anything(sucks). I love the idea of having my rifle in backpack so
I went with that option first. But when you get everything loaded its heavy.
I just bought an Eberlestock s25 Cherry bomb which is posted for sale if you're interested. Love the brand and the bag it's just not big enough because
I carry a good size first aid kit and a large edc pouch. I'm now thinking about to a covert bag. Then I can carry like 6 mags & some pistol mags & possibly a small Chest rig bc weight wouldn't be an issue.
So how did you Guys carry yours?
What are your thoughts on having it in backpack vs ours own case?
What backpack or case do you use?

MY EDC AR is a Northtech 16" with the LAW Tactical folder and Aimpoint PRO. I leave it in my truck along with my Kevlar vest and helmet. I have the rifle cabled in and covered up so Johnny Crackhead can't do a smash and grab.

8 1/2” barrel Aero pistol in 300 BLK
    7 - 20 rd mags
    Glock 21
    5 - 15 rd mags
    Gerber LMF
    Leatherman supertool
    Surefire flashlight
    Blowout kit
    Cash and documents

Like SPD, I cable lock the AR pistol when leaving it in the vehicle.

I've never even considered having a complete setup in a backpack like that but, I must say, I'm kinda lusting over that setup ya got.

Guitar case, long hair and a wrinkled cowboy hat and some tye dye shirts is the perfect cover.
