How many backup mags do you carry?

Currently I carry a 43x. I just throw an extra mag in my pocket but was thinking about getting a IWB mag holder since I carry my 43x in a crossbreed IWB holster.

I saw there’s some offerings in a single or double mag holder. Seeing what your all’s opinions are on backup mags.

I carry 16rnds in my little Glock 33 and usually dont carry a spare on me. Always have a spare in my truck or in my vest in cooler weather. But hot day, the 357 Sig hides pretty good even with 15+1 mag.
1911, I carry a spare 8rnd everywhere I carry it no matter what.

Shadow 2, I have 4 x 23rd magazines in a comp belt. Kidding about ccw it. I would look like some sort of super hero or something

I carry one spare mag no matter what I am pistol carrying just in case of a mag issue. If I know I am going into combat, I fill my pockets.

For my pocket gun just one spare. My car gun has five 10 rd. mags with it.

On duty I carry a Glock 45 with a spare mag in a mag/cuff combo paddle.

Off duty, I carry a Glock 43X in a pocket holster and a spare mag in a Galco pocket mag pouch.

Bravo concealment mag carrier with a 20 round mag and a 19 rd mag in the gun. If I cant deal with a problem with that then Im in a stupid situation I firmly believe that carrying a gun isnt about your comforts, its about having the best tools for a task. Clint Smith has a good point, dont carry extra mags for ammo capacity alone but in the event a magazine fails you have another!
