Step 1. Find the engineer who designed this thing.
Step 2. Beat said engineer into a pulp. Punch him in the throat. Hit him until you are tired.
Step 3. Go get neighbor.
Step 4. Have neighbor do step 2.

Ha! That's funny. I helped by brother in law change a bulb on his wife's Accord. Not fun.

So who can ell me how to change the lights behind the speedometer and climate control temperature slider in a 2006 Chevy truck?

People give me all kinds of grief for my BMWs, but then I read (and see first hand) thinks like this. I can walk up to my car, pop the hood, reach in, and snap out the old bulb, snap in new, and be done. On any of the front lights. The rears take a couple minutes: there's a couple plastic nuts on the inside of the trunk you unscrew, then pop off the entire rear assembly, and change any bulb easily. In fact, I think I could change every exterior bulb on my car in less than an hour.
