Sorry, yes it did. $3 worth of soap from Dollar Store (the cheap stuff but has to contain Phosphorus) and a coffee can to sprinkle it around then water it in.
I looked at everything at walmart and dollar store and all products including dishwasher detergent and powder carpet cleaning is now Phosphorus. I checked the dollar store and nothing. Going to lowes tomorrow.

Just get a product called "Grub-ex". It works very well. Most soaps do not contain phoshates any more. The EPA mandates assured this. When this thread was started 10 years ago, the rules were somewhat different.

Good luck on your quest!

Here are some ideas, https://www.poppyjuicelivingwellforless.com/2013/05/adding-trisodium-phospate-to-your.html which will direct you to https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...=B0001GOGQW&linkCode=as2&tag=poppytipsoamp-20

Or I use this companies product for dishes that is fantastic but have not tried their laundry soap. https://www.amazon.com/s?i=aps&k=La...sphates&ref=nb_sb_noss_2&url=search-alias=aps

Yep might be a little pricey, not sure how it would compare to using other products. Good luck to you.
