I used to say that one IDPA shooter shot regularly for over a year with a HI Point, til the day the slide broke in two on a stage. Then he bought a S&W.
You have to give credit to HI Point for their warranty: they practically replaced the entire gun when the slide broke; frame was crooked.
Now I say that no shooter that shot my matches got a Hi Point to stand up to regular competition and practice for 2 years...….
