I hope we don't end up with another Harvey. I'll probably have to go down there since that's where a lot of my family lives.

There are SO many places up and down the coast that are. I've friends in Port St. Lucie, and lived in NOLA for a while. Tornadoes are small potatoes compared to hurricanes IMHO ... I'm not much of a swimmer but I can dig a hole like a MFer.
I have a real healthy respect for both but I can honestly say I'm scared to death of hurricanes. I've been in one flood. That was one too many for me.

Yeah, but you can't really 'hide' from a hurricane. You just gotta' get out of the way. At least you can crawl in a hole and hide from a tornado.
