Guymon. Carried RCBS reloaders, powder, and primers. If I remember right I think the Skiatook WM carries a small selection of reloading supplies.

Well, walmart takes it to the extreme.

    Meh...

...I think I would replace "walmart" with "Apple" in that statement.

The hiring of an additional employee must increase revenue by an amount larger than the cost of adding that employee, either in actual increase in revenue dollars, or the reduction of costs due to other categories of expense.

In our free market, we should be applauding those enterprises that have found a way to do that.

That’s what I was thinking. Yes, exploitation is real and does happen, but in general I applaud a business that has found success through consensual relationships, even if (especially if) they make “obscene” amounts of money and their customers are willing to pay high prices (e.g. Apple). Walmart employees have every right to work with another employer who treats them better, even if they don’t have the opportunity (which isn’t Walmart’s fault). And hey have every right to negotiate with Walmart, individually or collectively, for better terms of employment, even though that negotiation may fail (and may have an undesirable outcome).

I don’t like Walmart’s business model and some of their business practices. So I don’t shop there much. But for the most part they’re just a legitimate business making money honestly – with the clout to get very favorable deals. If they’re failing to pay employees for hours worked (DST thing someone mentioned), that should be dealt with, along with any other violation of rights.

In fact, I just came back from WalMart and was reminded of a pet peeve. Not just at WM, but everywhere they have shopping carts. Why do healthy folks have to lean on the carts as if they just don't have enough energy to go one more step on their own?

We could apply that question to about half of the posts we make here!

Wow. Might be worth a visit when I'm in Edmond next time. I'd probably get the 10% discount too.
