I find paying cash (which also helps save money) and saving the change and $1 bills - you can pile up several hundred dollars pretty quickly.
I used to go to the toilet and open my wallet before doing my business. I’d toss the $1 bills up on top of the linen cabinet above. Occasionally, I’d toss a $5 up there. When it started to spill off the edge I took it down and counted it. $377 that I never missed.
