But the darn thing installed an entire Bing toolbar that is in the way and prominent on my screen and it annoys the crap out of me and I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

That's pretty much the search engine of choice on OSA from what I can tell.
It's been awhile, but my laptop came with bing installed with MS 10.
I still have bing show up when logging on to the laptop, but after several tries, have duck, duck go in the tool bar.
The bing search is still there so I just have to make sure I get on the duck duck go search window.
Just sayin... I accept the invites/spamYour making it tough buddy....I don't like decisions.
I hate to start looking for something online only to redirected to something totally unrelated by Bing- it's like we didn't find what you ask about, at least the way you ask about it, but why now get an add in for something else.
Is it the search bar in the start menu, or the web browser? What version of windows do you have?
