Anybody know where I can get a 55 gallon drum?
I need to burn some branches and I've got too many trees for an open pile bonfire type situation.
The safest drum is one with the top out of it! Many, many, people have been injured, or killed, cutting the top out of drums! I retired from an Oil Refinery, and they had to quit giving drums away because of the danger of cutting to top out of them! If you have to cut the top out, flush the drum out with water, then fill it completely with water, (on space for explosive vapors,) then use a hammer and chisel to cut the top out!

Thank for all the info/ideas.....never thought of FB Marketplace.
Found a guy on SH102 near the Shawnee Reservoir selling old drums for 10$.
Got 3 open-top with the rolled edge for 25$.
Looks like they used to contain some sort of spray foam product.
Oh well....good enough for what I'll be using them for....quick pressure wash and I'll be good to go.
