That's my favorite suppressed round. Depending on suppressor it is very quiet and yet still hits nice and hard. Bonus round is the 308 suppressor works great on 6.8 SPC. I went the SureFire route, but there are many good 308 suppressors on the market. Tony at Make Ready pro.shop can get you anything you want, and suppressor store .com can also get er done!
I just purchased a gemtech HV-t

I've been happy with my Yankee Hill Resonator K...I've got QD mouts for it on several rifles ranging from 308 to 762x39 to 223...works well.

Dead Air, SilencerCo, OSS, Gemtech, Surefire, etc are all good recommendations above. Shoot everything you can, find one you like. Good luck!

I probably should have searched the forum but;

Where do I go to buy? What brand should I look at? I’ll drive to OKC if it makes for an easier purchase from a dealer.

Or should I wait on the hopes they actually legalize those for purchase like a firearm. I’m super new to this kind of stuff.
R&M firearms in Minco sell them 405 568 2236

I have a .30 AAC and use a thread adaptor to use it on. 223/5.56. You can’t tell the difference using a .30 cal can on a .223/5.56.
That is the reason I want a .30 cal can. Use on both. I missed a good deal on hear I think last year. We had a dealer closing out on some here. And I hesitated too long to take advantage of it.

Check out pewscience.com
They have been testing a lot of 30 caliber suppressors. I also highly recommend silencer shop they have the whole buying process streamline, and there are a lot of dealers in the OKC metro that are set up through them.

OSS makes the best design wise. No baffles, and all the gasses and debris exit out the front so NOT blown back in your face. Harsh Firearms in Norman has a Silincerxo Kiosk and is an OSS DEALER.

OSS is HUXWRX now. In case the OP starts googling.

there’s been talks of making suppressors the same as buying a firearm. You just go in and fill out the background check and walk out with it if approved.
Okla SB1098 is now in senate authored by sen Bergstrom co authored by sen Hamilton and rep D Hardin.
If its not to much trouble might call your reps and ask for support on this bill.

Wont happen if left in the dark !
