Good to know they take care of the bad snakes. I relocated him to the woods behind the house, less chance of getting picked up by an owl and he should find more to eat in there.

So is the King Snake immune from the venom? Cannot the rattler penetrate the King? He was biting the dog mess outta that King and not affecting it at all.

Yes, Kingsnakes are immune or tolerant to venom from the snakes in which they share a habitat with, which would be all venomous snakes in North America.

I've read that the hooded snakes are vipers and poisonous but there are snakes that do no have a hood over it's eyes that are very poisonous. To me they are all poisonous like spiders.

I'm wondering if this snake has the same opinion of spiders???
