IDPA @ Oil Capital Sunday October 13th

The upcoming Oil Capital IDPA match date is Sunday, October 13th. Set-up begins at 0730, sign-in at 0900 and walk-thru promptly at 1000. Match fee is $12 ($10 for OCR&GC members). Expect 100+ required rounds, or so, for the six stage match. I’d bring 150 rounds, just in case you might miss a little.

Thanks to all for coming. Results are out through a BCC email to the shooters.

A near perfect day to perforate the plethora of paper evil people presentations. A number of good scores shot, along with several non-threats, although nothing near a record number of them.

The tact taken to implementation of the October 1 Rulebook was “learning by stage”. A couple of stages were written to particularly illustrate a high point of the October 1 Rulebook; it turned out well. Seems like its easier to internalize a new concept when its put into active practice. We will continue with it in future matches as a pleasant way to learn the new Rulebook.
