So this guy tries to stop what he believes to be a shoplifter, surprise he ain't, they get in to a tussle and the White Knight shoots and kills an innocent person. The White Knight feared for his life don't ya know.

Not really the definition of a white knight. I think it’s more of a situation like a woman is beating a man and he defends himself, then another guy attacks him.
