Passing the info on when it is an actionable offense will be done. The problem is the harm it could do in the mean time if there is nothing for the police to act on. Police are not around 100% of the time and unfortunately they cannot stop a "future crime" until something has happened. I know that he has had at least one domestic run in with the police, but I also know that they did nothing, even with witnessed threats of bodily harm. It was a "he said/she said" situation and they couldn't do anything. Illegal possession of a handgun is something that they CAN act on. Only question is "will they". I've heard alot from "armchair lawyers" and others. I've noticed that not a single person who is actual Law Enforcement has said anything. I think that speaks volumes to all who think something can be done BEFORE the crime has been committed. Dave
