So what is your honest opinion of your S&W?

Mine is reliable and has more inherent accuracy than I can utilize,,,
Some folk say the grip is a bit fat but I can hold it well enough.

It is definitely more accurate than I am. My only complaint is how quickly it fouls up. After 100ish rounds it starts getting sticky on chambering. A quick wipe down of the feed ramp and bolt and it's good for another 100ish rounds.

Buck mark for sure
The Buckmark is the Hunter model,,,
It has a long 7" bull barrel,,,
That makes it heavy.

While I like the pistol quite a bit,,,
It's really not the best choice for a speed shoot situation.

Where it would shine is with a scope or red dot,,,
It would be a great squirrel hunting handgun.

Of the four it's my least favorite,,,
That doesn't mean it's an inferior gun,,,
It's just not the one I take from the safe very often.

Dang but it's pretty though,,,
Truth be told that's probably why I bought it.

We had a Neos for a while. My kid loved the space age look of it. And the fact that the grip modules are available in different colors, and some red dots on Amazon are hilariously futuristic, they loved holding it as much as they loved shooting it.

Also I've never ever seen a Neos carbine before and now I'd want one if it was threaded

I wish you good luck finding that discontinued carbine kit,,,
It is literally made of "Unobtainium".

I paid about $230.00 for the kit several years ago,,,
I've been offered $400.00 for the carbine part alone,,,
And $600.00 if I wanted to part with the kit and a host pistol.

No way I'm going to sell them though,,,
When I go to play my fake rimfire steel challenge,,,
The NEOS carbine and the 4.5" NEOS pistol are my choices.

Tough choice. My brother and I are kinda ‘partners’ on a NEOS. I rand the pooh-waddins out of that thing and never cleaned it. We were perusing my safe a couple years ago and I said ‘oh, this is half yours so take it’. I’ve never seen it again but I bet it’s had a few more thousand rounds through it.
Great guns
