The TV is full of ads for getting ready for swimsuit season.
How many have joined up?
I do have some swim trunks. Got em about 10 years ago.
I'm pretty sure they've shrunk.
Well, I'm on the Doctor's "you better cut the sugar or you'll be a diabetic soon" diet. After two months of that I'm down 26 pounds. Half of that dropped the first 3 weeks. Now it's slowed to a trickle. No exercise yet. If I actually manage to start that back up I'm sure it'll go quicker. It's not too bad. The no bread and potatoes thing is kinda rough.
Still no swimsuit for me, though.
Heck yeah, I'm ready for swimsuit season. Got my mirrored sunglasses and a comfy portable chair ready.
...oh, wait, did you mean getting in shape to wear a swimsuit? Never mind...
I'm not into tan lines during swim season......
I haven't had breakfast yet, but now I no longer have any appetite.....
Yesterday, I dust off my speedos. Now I got to do some work in my 30 pack.
Blood sugar - aka glycogen- is bound to water in the body so when you dump sugar, you dump tons of water weight that’s literally attached to it.
I say actually not to discourage but rather to clarify and say keep it up! .5 - 1 pound a week is the normal rate for weight loss, with 2 pounds a week being on the rapid/fast end of healthy, AFTER the initial steep decline of water weight loss.
I was gonna say, I've got mine around here somewhere from when I taught scuba diving. Now I'm a beached whale...
I'll send pics later!
I've got my beach body and swim wear all sorted.
