That's nice, my old ithaca 12 sxs has damascus barrels, wish mine looked as nice as yours and had the good barrels,

my newer ithaca sxs is the 10gauge magnum with snail ears
Sweet, Ive got to shoot an 8 gage in the middle of Tulsa (41st an Yale). That thing didn’t recoil any, much less than my BF dad’s old Stevens with dual triggers, ok mark that off my bucket list 😵

We will skip the fact it was welded to a manhole cover, now it jumped a good 1/2 inch. I was just there with some guys, They were testing some phones for the field, can’t remember if they were hydrophones or geophones. I work both land and sea.

Does anyone know of a shotgun 'smith who can look over this circa 1900 Ithaca to see if it's safe to shoot?

Looks can be deceiving but it looks to have been taken care of. Looks like Proof Steel Barrels. Barrels should be marked as such.
