Haha wow! Perfect.. I hope the homeowner is able to thoroughly recover from trauma. But good for him! Nice job getting to a firearm and putting it to work on those fools.

This type of situation is exactly why a keep a few firearms stashed throughout the house. Look away for 3 seconds crooks, I dare ya! Lol

This is a weird sort of story - if the details that later came out, can be believed.
NY Post called it "a bizarre burglary where he [the homeowner] knew at least one of the would-be thieves, reports said."
"...The deadly incident came just one day after the same group had allegedly taken cash from him, the homeowner claimed in newly revealed court documents. A woman who survived the botched burglary had stayed with him several times over the years, he later told cops."
The woman supposedly came by the day before and homeowner gave her $65. Next day they broke in demanding money; he said he was tapped out from the day before and wrote them a check for $500.
The unnamed homeowner "...was able to grab his shotgun and fatally shot Dylan Morefield and Rameica Moore, the records said. He then escorted his acquaintance Tabitha Johnson, 42, outside the home, where alleged lookout man Shaun Kruse, 42, was standing, WPTA said.
He then forced Kruse to dial 911, the station said."

Not all that unusual. Lots of people rob people that they know or associated with. Idiots associate with idiots. I also have a guess what that $65 was for. How often do you hear about someone being robbed and the robbers come back later for more?

Funny how brutal we are getting. When I read these I’m catching myself longing for it to conclude “all perps expired at the scene”. Same with politics… jail-for-life is about the only thing that would completely satisfy for the level if corruption we read about daily. There are no laws on the books that say Soros-Funded-Prosecutors can be jailed, so I guess I have to confess I’d be satisfied to hear they made good hog feed so long as I wasn’t buying the pork.

Anyone ever hear of the Clutter Family? They were the victims of two MORONS that heard they had a safe full of money, from an ex-farm worker, that had worked for them, that was in prison with the two PUNKS! A book, and movie, "In Cold Blood," told this story! This happened back in the late 50's, early 60's, in Kansas. Long story short, had Mr. Clutter be armed and prepared, to kill a couple of punks that were wasting air, he would have saved his whole families life! He didn't even have a safe, in his house, but the false rumor get them all killed!
