For those who have had little experience with revolvers(very few/if any on this forum) or if you know someone with little experience with revolvers, you might want to give this a watch.

I learned about cylinder gap and sloppy out timing about 20 years ago. Was a little painful. I was lucky. My friend and I were shooting. He had an old 22 revolver and was shooting a little ahead of me to the left side of me.

I’m glad I was a good 6 to 8 foot away from him. When he shot that old out of time pistola it peppered the side of my face. Didn’t draw blood but it hurt. You don’t forget things like that.

Anyone know if Rossi REALLY fixed this problem for their Circuit Judge rifle?

The Rossi Circuit Judge design eliminates this problem with the installation of gas-deflector shields on the frame near the cylinder gap as well as a wedge-shaped flair to the forearm between the cylinder and where the shooter’s hand rests. These enhancements successfully work to protect the shooter.
