Before investing that much, I would see if I could shoot both of them (maybe find a range that rents them).
I've found out "oh heck no!" when I shot a gun I thought I would like.
It costs range time, rental fee and ammo but may be cheaper in the long run.
I don't know much about the 10 round/12 round/15 round magazine controversy but I'd also look at the price of spare magazines, a different set of sights (if that's on the menu), etc.
The price of spare mags for some guns these days has sent me running the other way on a couple of occasions.
Can’t go wrong with either. I’ve carried the 43X, and several others mentioned here earlier. Now I am carrying the 365X. I think this one is a keeper. Nothing wrong with any of them. It’s just a matter of personal choice for me in the way in which I carry and the 365X checks all the boxes for me.
I shot the P365 and the Glock 43 back to back. For me the P365 was better in everyway. I ended up buying the P365. I haven't shot p365xl or the 43x but I love that I can change everything on the P365. Its so modular and with the trigger control group being the actual gun it makes swapping things easy. I plan to get a P365xl grip for my p365 and try it. I heard its great.
365 currently. You might want to consider a 43 with the new Shield mags coming out. For me, quite a bit of difference in conceal ability between 43 and 43x.
Checks username. Doesn’t own a single one nowadays. The Glock was never a contender this time last year when I bought the P365XL. Almost looked at HeckKitty, but the trigger wasn’t as good and mag drop was a problem due to hand placement.
