Thanks for the offer Glocktogo I almost took you up on that but I watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4maCQhEIjoA as referenced by "HiredHand" above and I was inspired to try it myself using the punch method. It took me about 1.5 hours though mostly filing the sight down to fit. I only had a steel punch but I put Gorilla tape over the end and ended up not messing up the finish whatsoever on the gun or the sights. I didn't have a socket to fit the screw in the front sight but with a little finesse and some tweezers I made it work without much trouble. I'll still have to take the screws back out to put red Loctite on them tomorrow because I couldn't find the red Loctite I thought I already had. I couldn't recommend everybody install their own night sights with these basic tools but it worked out ok for me. These Heinie Straight Eight Ledge sights look fantastic, I can't wait to get it to the range!
