You think they care that people will fight back? Doesn't matter to them... these are people who believe so strongly in their cause they are bound and determined to DIE for it. Not take the CHANCE of dying, if they succeed, it is BY dying! But the secondary goal is to cause panic and disturbance. If they try to commandeer a few airplanes at the same time on a single day, even if every one of their teams is thwarted by passengers and not a single plane crashes... the entire airline industry will be PARALYZED for a time. They will SHUT DOWN for at least the rest of the day, and likely several days. Costing MILLIONS of dollars, delaying tens or hundreds of thousands of passengers, and generally panicking the entire country all over again, forcing us to re-examine and re-write our security procedures all over again and generally freaking out the entire world... all over again. You don't think that they would consider that a reasonable achievement to attain through FAILURE? Hell, they can't lose! Bottom line is, we're too politically correct and too afraid to offend someone, so they KNOW they can cause a disturbance. And guess what... while we're all so busy trying to deal with the airline shutdown it would cause... wouldn't that be a PERFECT time to try something else new and heretofore unexpected? I think so. Maybe I'm paranoid, though.
