[QUOTE="HMFIC, post: 2000892, member: 7539"] I think you're going to find that there is no good solution. Whatever you end up with, you'll be cussing it this side of a week and wanting to switch. But you won't, you'll be stuck like the rest of us complaining about it and then maybe someday you'll go ahead and kick them to the curb only to find the whole thing repeat itself with the new service. I have Cox and it works pretty much all the time and when it doesn't, I know how to reset the modem to kickstart it into finding it's brain again. It works for me, but I hate it and them. I just am not prepared fo to handle the imminent disappointment I know I'll find if I switch. OH... and it won't matter what your problem is when you call customer service... they too will just tell you that you didn't properly follow proper protocols. Then they'll tell you to format your hard drive and that it must be your computer and that's not covered. Flip a coin and hope you die in your sleep... that's about the best you're gonna get.
