Is anyone else tired of the "My pistol isn't accurate" threads?

They all sound pretty accurate to me. I don't know how much closer you could expect them to be really. The double-nine I have is pretty accurate, but I can't shoot it very accurately in double action, but pretty well in single action. I've never tried shooting it from a rest of any kind.

How accurate would you expect any gun/ammo combo to be at 15 yards?

I know that some guns will have more accuracy than others,,,
But I still maintain that barring a manufacturing defect of some ilk,,,
Any new handgun should have more inherent accuracy than most shooters can utilize.

I'm just wondering why people can't accept the fact,,,
That it takes practice to develop proficiency.

When most people say "That gun isn't accurate",,,
What they should be saying is this,,,
"I don't hit well with that gun".

Some double actions need trigger jobs real bad. Best Double action revolver I ever shot was a Colt Diamond back in .38 I used to have. Butter smooth in DA.
