Was there ever a Beretta 92 or clone like Taurus or whomever else might make them, that offered SAO and a frame mounted safety?

I know there were SAO versions ($$$$), and frame mounted safety versions...but...were the two ever combined in an offering?

Beretta made several SAO variants, but most of them were very low production, high cost options. They've never made a regular production SAO at normal price structures. The Taurus clones were frame mounted safety, but offered DA/SA, not SAO.

I have a P226 SAO which hits these requested features...I just kinda want to try a semi auto pistol with a "fixed" barrel for suppressors, but dont want to give up SAO and the frame mounted safety.

Yup 45 ACP. It's basically the Sig for people who have trained on 1911s..and may have even been marketed that way.
