    Item Description: Range technology AFM disabler for GM v6-v8s. I used this in my 2011 5.3l Silverado to disable the active fuel management, for about a year. works as advertised and I actually got better fuel mileage. Green LED model. Plugs into the ODBII port, not permanent mods to ECU of your vehicle.

    I purchased it a yr and a half ago roughly. Bought it new, direct from Range Tech.

    There's a compatibility list on their site. Mine was on a 2011 5.3 chevy. On 5.3l, it works for 2007-2018.

    Do you have the part number? I HATE the AFM on my '09. It's a 6.0.

    I had a buddy reprogram some parameters in my ECU, so it’s no longer needed.
