Its Prairie Dog weekend

I am simewhere in Kansas right now on my way to our annual Nebraska Prairie Dog Excursion. Picking up a friend from Florida at the Lincoln airport tonight.
Friday and Sunday should be good...Saturday might be muddy.
I also brought a video camera with lots of zoom so hopefully I can get some nice pdog explosions.
I will be on a Savage Bmag while my biddy on a Ruger 10/22 converted to 17HM2. Wish us luck!

A 17 hmr is too small for any blood mist.
Use a 22-250!
lol, I used to go to western NE where my brother lived. He was a Vet and knew all the ranchers so we had unlimited places to shoot PDs. One afternoon we used over 400 rounds of ammo and estimated a 75% kill rate. Thats a LOT of dogs and TONs of fun.
I was using my 30-30 loaded with 110 gr. hollow points! Nothing left but a tail and a nose! lol

Shot them with 22 LR, 221 fireball, 222 Rem, 204 Ruger, 22-250, 240 Weatherby, 357 Mag, 30.06 110 gr. RN, LOTSoFUN.
