Interesting, never heard of it before.
It's good stuff! We discovered it a few years back when we had more cantaloupe than we could handle/give away. There are good recipes to be found on the internet. We like our jam on the stiff side so we add extra pectin(about 25% extra).
Another good one is red tomato jam; - good recipes also available on line.
