IWB designs suggestions

I have to break out of this funk of not getting my holsters into all y'alls pants. So, I have come up with the decision to crowd-source y'all for recommendations or wants you've always had with your IWB carries. I want to make this fully functional and cut out the custom tooling focus I normally lean on. So hit me with everything y'all got.

I have bought a bunch of holsters over the years both inside and outside and to me the most comfortable were the Alien Shape Shift and the Galco KT440B King Tuck being the winner. It has never pinched me and has always secured my gun. It even has another feature mine acquired after a lot of wear, the top leather flap protecting the body from the gun has actually flopped over securing the gun even more from people snatching it.

I will not wear a holster that rubs or pinches aor has a bad retention system.

Being old school, I prefer a thumb break for retention instead of a screw.

I love the adjustability of the Alien

and the comfort of the Galco.

Me personally, I would stay away from full leather for iwb since leather tends to soften with use and I wouldn't want to risk an accidental discharge so close to my twig n berries. I like crossbreed hybrid leather/kydex for owb and need to start looking for iwb after losing 60#s and have room for accessories again. I'm still leary about appendix carry since it is so close to vital parts that don't need any extra holes.

I am 5,4 about 290 and I only appendix carry anything from a sig p365 axg legion to a government model 1911, a kore edc belt and tulster holster. But would like to try some leather appendix rigs.

So, after some recon, it looks like with some quick additions to my Avenger holster, I can have an IWB version in someone's pants this week. I'm still building my mold collection, so as of now, I can make Glock 19, P365, P320, P2022, 1911, and MP Shield. My holsters are all wet-formed to harden like kydex but it also limits me to what I can make.

Anyone interested in being my test subject? If you have a large social media presence we may even be able to work something out.

I have 2 Comp-Tac iwb holsters. Very comfortable . I would recommend them to anyone.

Built very similar to the Galco holster pictured above.
