I got hooked on this, it's kinda like watching a true story as the events in the middle east have played out the last many years. Good acting and story line. It's a series with 2 seasons so far and I have watched season 1. I recommend it.

"Woke' is, from what I gather. the current rage in Tinseltown. To be 'woke' is to agree with the latest progressive cause, embracing it whole-heartedly. The right number of females racial minorities and LGBT has to be present in the cast and the USA is almost always the villains along with conservatives, and/or Christians. Muslims are rarely the bad guys in 'woke' films and the progressive viewpoint is the one shown to be the one of virtue.

IOW, 'woke' films are ones that Hollywood uses when they virtue signal.
