My youngest daughter (14yo) drew for James Collins Youth Rifle hunt.

I know there are some good opportunities out there, anybody been lately that may have some pointers on where i should start? id like to go scout around some in a few weeks!

I can offer you nothing as I have never been there before. I have read that it is pretty thick, not sure if true but definitely scout to check it out. Congrats on the hunt and I hope she gets a huge one.

I’ve scouted out there twice but never hunted. I’ll shoot you a private message where I saw some bucks early season last summer.

I’m not a deer hunter so I can’t share anything about deer, but I’ve killed quail there before and there’s some spots I wouldn’t mind trying to pop green heads on
