Google has practically a monopoly on a large part of the internet, and i feel that the government should probably regulate Youtube and larger sites to protect free speech.

Yeah...except for the part where it's completely wrong. The power to (lawfully) use force is the defining feature of a government as distinct from any other entity. Corporations (and other private entities) can't put a gun to your head to make you patronize them; government can and does in all that it does, if only implied (at first).
