John Ford's "Fort Apache"

One of my most favoretest movies.
I've always thought there must have been a prologue with Owen Thursday (Henry Fonda) and Sam Collingwood (George O'Brien) from some of the dialoques between them. 've looked for a book that was the base of the movie but ni ceegar.

I'm a huge fan of John Wayne, but I hated his John Ford movies. I did enjoy The Quiet Man which was directed by John Ford, but I just did not care for the cavalry movies.
