Judge/Governor/Rat Shot will be legal in November as well as AR pistols

I haven't seen this posted here yet. The Governor signed HB 1428 into law this week. http://webserver1.lsb.state.ok.us/cf_pdf/2017-18 ENR/hB/HB1428 ENR.PDF if I read this correctly it makes using shot shells out of the Judge/Governor type handguns legal as well as rat shot. It also appears to make AR pistols legal to carry. Now the practicality of these item is another story but they will be legal at least.

The one I posted was HB1428 lowering the age to get a Handgun carry permit for Military members from 21 to 18.

I was thinking that also but since the law still says "derringer, revolver, or semi-auto" I'm still not sure since the PGO is a pump??

Doesn't sound like it solves the issues with the Mossberg Shockwave because it's not a derringer, revolver or semi-automatic firearm.

This only applies to a firearm that is purposely manufactured as a "handgun" - meaning a revolver, break-action (derringer), or semi-auto pistol. While an AR pistol is manufactured as such, their size and unwieldiness make them a mote point, of course.

It would not apply to a short-barreled shotgun - break-action, pump, or semi - as those are originally manufactured as shoulder-fired guns.
