That's 21st Century Fox, the movie studio, and a number of the Fox cable channels--but not the Fox Broadcast Network (which Disney couldn't own, as they own ABC) or Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network. They are reforming at "New Fox."
It also includes the Fox Sports regional sports networks, but Disney is having to turn around and sell them off (because of their ESPN holdings; holding both would give them too large of a share of cable sports) shortly after the deal is done. There's a line of thought that says Fox might actually buy them back, though I'm not sure what that would gain them. Maybe it would have some kind of beneficial (to Fox) effect on their contracts?

I used to work in television and still get TV Week's TVBiz Insider emails. Disney hasn't been able to find a buyer for the regional Fox Sports networks. The only serious bid was from Sinclair Broadcasting (with a private equity firm partner) and it was reported as a lowball bid. It was reported last December that Disney was planning to break up and sell the 22 regional Fox Sports networks piecemeal. I guess they see it as the only way to dispose of the networks holding up the Disney/Fox merger.

Donna Brazile gave Hillary the questions prior to the debate and they hired her? She is dishonest as well as liberal so we know where Fox is going. They could have hired anyone but her, her track record is dismal. At least they could have put an honest Democrat on but that's like trying to find a needle in a haystack that covered an acre. (Could have used other analogies but this is far more G rated)

If they put in only "honest Democrats," they wouldn't be able to say they were fair and balanced with their contributor's comments. I don't have a problem with Brazile being a contributor any more than Juan Williams or others. It still gives the left an opportunity to have their voices heard, and we get their way of thinking out in the open. Their philosophy is easier to refute when it is expressed openly.

And, I was thinking that Brazile only gave the Hildebeast's campaign one question. Maybe I need to go research that.

What got me this morning was MSNBC's Joe Scarbrough criticizing Trump on religious grounds, citing a chapter in Matthew. Scarbrough ought to re-read the first few verses of Matthew 7 before commenting...

...oh wait...

...if he did that, he'd be out of a job. That would prevent him from criticizing anyone from now on.

Before too long fox will be another leftist place. We won’t have any conservative mainstream “news” anymore. Our country is doomed anyway so it really don’t matter. Nothing is going to stop the rise of socialism. We the people are too gutless to do anything.

Tucker's comments were years ago, as a guest on the "Bubba the Love Sponge" radio show, when he worked at MSNBC. I think it was a regular required appearance on the shock jock program and I think he was there reluctantly. It's a far different situation than Judge Jeanine.

As for ONN, I watched them a few times and they were meh. I wasn't impressed with their talent--their delivery was flat and they seemed too canned. I would flip to them during major breaking stories that all the other networks were covering and they looked like they were in a taped loop--I'm not saying they were, but the repetitive nature and flat delivery gave that impression to me.

I am watching a story on ONN now about the college admissions scandal. The video was all from either local stations or an outfit called "The Campus Quad" and the two interviews with men speaking Chinese! When they get a larger news staff maybe they might improve. For now, they're a non-starter for me. YMMV.
As I understand it,OAN is part of a package that gets pennies of the dollar. The reporters are so-so but it’s the news not hype. Give em a chance. They may be the last of conservative TV news

There was a story I read a while back that stated that FOX News and Breitbart were about the only news sources that were leaning conservative. At least FOX covers a lot of the same news as the the main stream news sources, but with a centrist view.

With regards to the main stream media, I saw a headline today on Drudge Report that stated that the main stream media's FOAI requests are up 669% compared to during the Obama years.

Dan Bongino - Media FOIA Requests Skyrocketed After Trump's Election

Of course there were hardly any during Obama's years, so it wouldn't be hard to have an increase of 669%.

On Fox and Friends this morning, talking about the mass shooting in New Zealand, the hosts were making very pro gun talking points, it was good to hear that coming from the television.

For what I read a few days ago, the guy that owns or is over Fox News has put his two liberal sons in charge of it. The first thing they did was can the judge. Tucker will be next.
