I feel pretty lucky. We have OG&E and we're on their Smart Hours plan. Electricity is .07 cents per Kwhr from 1900 to 1400. Between 1400 and 1900 the cost varies from .07 cents to .43 cents. Needless to say we damn near shut the house down between 2pm and 7pm. Just paid the bill today for last month usage... It was $90 and change. The OG&E website is projecting our bill next month to be $130. No water, no sewer since we're on well and septic. We'll have propane to heat with and we have an electric furnace to supplement should we need it. Of course, our house is only 1100 sq ft.
