In less than just seven years the beautiful demon spawn of the great, sainted John Moses Browning (blessed be his name) known also as "Ma Deuce" will have been in service CONTINUOUSLY for 100 years. This in spite of the DoD's efforts to replace it.


I hereby commit myself to obtaining something in .50BMG by 2021 to commemorate the centennial of the cartridge that was 'inspired' as it were by the 30.06.

Browning still has several firearm design/patent working towards the 100yr mark. Most are still in production, or being copied somewhere in the world.
