Interesting your from Virginia. I follow the ODW quail study's. Virginia has worked with Ok to study the decline in the quail populations, sharing the study's as I understand it.
Our birds are down this year unless the October count shows some improvement.
How are your quail?
Just for my personal question, what brought you to OSA? It's a great forum and you won't regret joining here, but just curious.

Just surfing the internet and thought I would check you all out.............................
We don't have many Quail either, guess these Coyotes that have invaded us are wiping them out...many years ago a friend and I raised 200 Jumbo Michigan Quail and turned them loose on his Farm and in a couple years there were none were left......I'll let you know how are Deer Hunting goes here in Virginia this year, my friends from High School ..{ CLASS OF 68 }.. own a 250 acre Farm in Rappahanock County Virginia....just a bunch of old guys having a good time..
