Over here in Arkansas, we use bail bondsmen and probation/parole officers quite often to get into places that we could'nt otherwise. Under the right circumstances, they are quite useful and helpful to LE. By the way, I know some cops that don't have any buisiness with a gun. It depends on the individual, not the profession.
