Just picked the last gallon bag of Elderberries.

Now to clean them and prepare a tonic. I'm going to use vodka this year.

Last year I used honey, cinnamon, turmeric, and powdered vitamin C in a syrup.

It was great but going easy and cheap this year

Been quite a few years since I got any berries, the birds seemed to beat me to them.

But this year I got some.

Almost a full gallon baggie of cleaned berries in the freezer.

I'll go the jelly route though.

I messed up a batch of elderberry jelly some years back and it was a tad runny.....

But truth be told it was awesome on ice cream!
