And I never said that her getting attacked was acceptable. In fact it's absolutely pathetic and all who were involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Again, I never said anything against this. What I did show was that Reddit is more than just a vast hole of liberal ranting and snowflake whining (although, to be honest, there is a WHOOOOOOOLE lot of that too. I mostly just go for the memes). Well, you should. Everyone should. Anytime the police or any member of government exceeds their authority they should be held accountable and burned to the ground (figuratively only). You, and everyone else, should be horrified that peaceful protesters are being assaulted by those in charge. You should want those authoritative figure held, at the very least, to the same rules of law that those not in a position of power are held. And those people should, again, be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And how many times during those protests did the police fire rubber bullets and tear gas at the people that were peacefully protesting? How, exactly, do you think the current protests would turn out if the protesters showed up fully loaded up like Tactical Timmy here? On principle we are really in agreement. Or at least I believe so. The principle that people should be allowed to peacefully protest? Check. The principle that rioters and looters are scum? Check. I think the only thing that we are disagreeing on (and I could really be wrong here) is the belief that video showing police overstepping their authority exists and is proof of said overstepping.
