All kidding aside, I've always said that there are two teams in the Big 12 that, no matter their record, can cause nightmares for the rest of the conference. Iowa State and K-State.

I kept thinking OU could pull it together but nope. Still a good game to watch.

They certainly scored with ease their last possession. It was almost as if KSU’s defense had left the building.

With a 2 score lead, KSU traded space & 1 score for OU to burn up the clock. They left very little time for any “Sooner Magic” to show up. The defense was definitely in the building but using their best resource (clock) to be their ally.

They gave OU a chance to recover the onside kick and find some Sooner magic. I think the defense should have made every effort not to allow them to score that last TD. Probably why I’m not a coach.

Sooners had more avg yds per player in almost every offensive category including passing and rushing. The one category the offense won was the one that kills ya in tight games. PENALTIES
