He was on a team poised and loaded to win the Championship, he couldn't finish it. In my opinion, he ran from the challenge and took the easy option. I don't think he's going to like not being the superstar there. If he thinks he's going to get the same amount of shots and time, he's crazy.

I hope the Thunder win it next year, that would be poetic justice.

Really? So you don't think he's a team player? I always thought he was... a leader, and one who knew how to take the pressure and mantle when needed. But oh well...

I'm disappointed, but I'm not a hater. GSW was my 2nd favorite team last year, and up until DG's stupidity, they were my 2nd favorite this year, too. I am happy for KD, I expect he will get the rings he is looking for, and in the longrun, he will not end up as one of those superstars without a ring. Good for him.

Let's face it folks, the guys who play in the NBA, especially the superstars, are after big bucks, fame and rings. Rings are what they gauge their careers by when they are sitting back with their grandchildren on their knees... so what? I wish KD the best, he helped bring OKC to the brink of greatness and felt this wasn't the place to seal the deal. We'll move on, we've got Russ for another half-season, and who knows from there? It sucks, but it's still our team, our only Oklahoma professional sports team. I'll still support them, but I'll still root for KD and the Dubs, too, when it's appropriate.

I never said he wasn't a team player. I just think he ran from this challenge hoping for an easy ring. Very weak, especially after what he said about Lebron when he left Cleveland. Calls him or for it and then does the same thing, weak. I'm still a Thunder fan and I hope we lay down some serious wins next season.
